1. I am not sure if I have Medicare or Medicaid coverage for my supply needs. Is there someone who can assist me in enrolling in the HCD Supply Management Program?
2. What supplies can HCD provide that are covered by Medicare?
- Home Care Delivered can supply the following Medicare covered items: diabetes, urological, ostomy, and wound care supplies. Please call one of our Customer Care Representatives at 1-800-565-5644 to start the easy enrollment process today!
3. Does HCD participate with Medicaid?
- Yes. Home Care Delivered participates with many Medicaid state programs. Please call one of our Customer Care Representatives at 1-800-565-5644 to see if we are participating in your state.
4. I have private health insurance. How do I know if my supplies will be covered through HCD?
- Home Care Delivered participates with many private health insurance companies. Please call one of our Customer Care Representatives at 1-800-565-5644 so we may verify your health insurance benefits to determine if we are a participating provider.
5. How long will it take before I receive my medical supplies?
- Once you enroll, either online or by calling our toll-free number, a Customer Care Representative will verify your insurance coverage, obtain all required documentation from your Physician, and help you determine the medical supplies you need. Most orders arrive in 1-2 business days after the receipt of all necessary documentation.
6. I don't have health insurance. How can I get medical supplies?
- You may purchase quality, brand-name medical supplies on our Retail Website.
7. What number should I call to speak with a Customer Care Representative?
- Please call 1-800-565-5644 and a Customer Care Representative will be happy to assist you.
8. What are your hours of operation?
- Customer Care Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm ET.
9. What out-of-pocket expenses will I incur when ordering from HCD?
- Medicare covers your diabetes, urological, ostomy and wound care supplies at 80%, after meeting your calendar year deductible. If you have secondary insurance, you may have no out-of-pocket costs.
10. What is your Return Policy?
- Home Care Delivered stands behind the quality, cleanliness and sterility of the products we offer. Due to the sensitive nature of healthcare products, Home Care Delivered cannot give a refund or credit for any item(s) in which the retail packaging or sterile seal has been broken. If you suspect a problem with your order, please call one of our Customer Care Representatives at 1-800-565-5644 before opening the product. This will ensure you are not left with a non-refundable item.
- If an incorrect or defective item was shipped in error by Home Care Delivered, we will arrange to have the merchandise picked up and will resend you appropriate product at our cost.
- Home Care Delivered will gladly accept returned merchandise and provide a full refund or credit, so long as the returned item(s) meet the following criteria:
- Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of original order date
- Item(s) must be returned unopened in the original manufacturer packaging in a re-sellable condition and include all accessories, manuals, brochures and manufacturer documentation
- Customer must contact Home Care Delivered and receive a Return Authorization Number (RA) prior to returning the item(s).
NOTE: Packages received without a Return Authorization number are not eligible for credit.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ship the product back to Home Care Delivered once an RA is issued, except in the case of errors or defective product
