Gordy Fox founded Home Care Delivered, Inc. in 1996 and serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. His vision was to build a company where the compassion level is high and the delivery of products to people at home is efficient and hassle-free.
An alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, Gordy lives and leads by VMI's guiding principles: honor, integrity, and responsibility. He developed the Company from a local presence to one with national capabilities, providing extraordinary value to those in need of medical supplies, as well as to clinicians and caregivers who support patients in the home setting.
David is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Archbrook Capital Management, LLC, an investment management firm focused on investing in public equities and making private investments in small market, growth-oriented companies. Prior to founding Archbrook, David worked in investment banking at Bank of America Securities and later served as Vice President of SG Cowen in its Leveraged Finance Group.
Mr. Apple received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
Henry A. Berling retired from Owens & Minor in 2005 as Executive Vice President, Partnership Development. Mr. Berling joined Owens & Minor in 1966 as a salesman. Over the ensuing 33 years, he served in many leadership roles, including Chief Sales Officer, Executive Vice President of Sales and Customer Development and as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has been a Director since January 1998 and is a member of the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees.
Mr. Berling earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Villanova University.
Dave Bernd is chief executive officer of Sentara Healthcare. With Sentara since 1972, Bernd has held a variety of positions, including Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Sentara Health System and President of Sentara Hospitals-Norfolk.
Mr. Bernd holds a Master's degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia, and a Bachelor’s degree from The College of William & Mary.
Jim Brady founded Payerpath in 1998 and joined Misys Healthcare Systems in 2006 to lead the company's EDI services business unit. Previously, Jim held various leadership positions in the healthcare technology sector, including Vice President of Sales for the healthcare division of National Data Corporation, NDC Health Information Services, and Senior Vice President for Health Communication Services (HCS), a firm acquired by NDC.
Mr. Brady received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Richmond.
David Kaufman is a founding Member and Senior Managing Director of Envest and serves as a member of the Envest I and Envest II Investment Committees. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Vacation Store, and served as Senior Vice President, Business Groups at Cunard Line Ltd., responsible for leading Cunard's cruise business operations.
Mr. Kaufman holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, focusing on investments, and a BBA degree from Emory University.
Bobby Turnage currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Network Solutions, LLC, an industry-leading Internet services provider. His previous legal experience includes litigation work in private practice, as well as work in the banking industry. In addition, he has served as a defense lawyer and a prosecutor for the U.S. Army Reserve.
Mr. Turnage is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the American Corporate Counsel Association. He received a B.S. in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University and his Juris Doctor from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law.
Charles Wayland is the Chief Financial Officer of Health Management Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WellPoint, Inc. He previously served as Vice President of Operations and Finance of Anthem Virginia, which merged with WellPoint, Inc in 2004. Over his six year tenure at Anthem Virginia, Charles held various leadership positions in operations and finance, including his most recent responsibility of all operations in both Virginia and Georgia. He began his career at Ernst & Young then joined Coventry Healthcare.
Mr. Wayland received his Bachelors of Business Administration from James Madison University.
