Comfort Shield is the first five in one incontinence care product to offer cleansing, moisturizing, deodorizing, and barrier protection in a soft, durable washcloth. Comfort Shield’s premoistened, disposable washcloths help treat and protects your patients from perineal dermatitis due to incontinence. Comfort Shield Perineal Care Washcloths replace laundered washcloths, wipes, soaps, basins, sprays, foam cleansers, and barrier creams for incontinence clean-up and protection. These pre-moistened ultra-thick washcloths also save time and reduce laundry and linen replacement costs. Comfort Shield is formulated with 3% dimethicone to help seal out wetness and protect against skin irritation. It is also available with an added zinc-oxide formula. All Comfort Shield formulas are dermatologist-tested; proven gentle and nonirritating. Single-use and multi-use packs (not including tubs) can be warmed in a microwave or warmer for soothing patient comfort. Comfort Shield leaves behind a transparent dimethicone barrier that is less messy and easier to clean up than standard zinc oxide or petroleum-based barriers. Comfort Shield is also available with 6% microfine zinc oxide which goes on virtually transparent for added protection. Replaces 7524.
