What is CSC?
CSC stands for Clinician’s Supply Closet. It’s a new, cost-effective way for health care professionals to order and manage the medical supplies they use for patient care. Instead of ordering supplies in bulk and managing a closet full of inventory, our customers have the option to order supplies in bulk or on a per patients basis….as needed/ when needed.
How do we place orders?
Orders are placed online through our secured, password-protected website. Your facility will receive a User ID and Password to log into your account. Once in your account, you can easily place supply closet orders or patient specific orders from either your established formulary, our database of over 5000 products, or our recommended “Best Value Formulary”.
How will we receive our order?
The supplies will be delivered to your preferred location (office, nurse’s home or the patient’s home) with the patient’s name marked/ labeled on the package delivered right to the patient’s door.
When will we receive our orders?
All orders placed by 3:00 pm Eastern Time will be shipped the same day and delivered within 1-2 business days.
How will I know if our order has been received and shipped?
Once you submit an order you will receive an e-mail confirmation. At shipping time, you will receive an e-mail showing your order information and UPS tracking number.
Can we order supplies that are on our established formulary and approved by management?
Home Care Delivered will take your formulary and integrate it into your account. Each time you log on, your pre-established formulary will appear to ensure proper ordering and adherence to cost-saving products.
How do we order those seldom-used items that are outside our formulary?
We have created a “Best Value Formulary” that contains hundreds of items specifically for home healthcare. As a valued customer, your facility will have access to these supplies at competitive pricing along with thousands of other top-quality items. If the need arises for a product that is not listed online please call our customer service department and our highly trained staff will submit your special product request. You may also submit your product request online and someone will reply to your request within 24 - 48 hours.
What do we do when we need an item on site for urgent requests/needs?
The purpose of CSC is to help agencies reduce their costs associated with managing their inventory by ordering only what they need when they need it. There will be times when you will need a product for urgent needs, let us know and we will work with you to expedite your order and help you establish emergency stocking supplies.
Do I have the ability to track my orders and generate reports?
Through CSC you will be able to track orders in real-time and report on costs per patient, per facility or even per product HCPCS codes.
What are the shipping costs?
All orders meeting a $250.00 minimum are shipped at no charge. Patient specific deliveries or supply closet orders less than $250 will receive a $4.99 flat fee.
What does it cost to use CSC?
There are no annual fees for CSC because by helping you become more efficient, everyone benefits.
